Sarah & Jacob | Michigan Wedding

July 1, 2023

Every wedding is memorable to me in some way — I TRULY enjoy every single special day I’m a part of. With that said, Sarah and Jacob’s Michigan wedding day will forever and always stick with me. I definitely stayed a little longer just to dance a little extra — it was that much fun. I definitely wish I could travel back in time just to photograph this day again!

Festive, Fun, and Love-Filled Michigan Wedding

Sarah was calm and collected throughout the whole day. No surprise there, though, because she’s a perfect goddess. *Cue all the heart eyes* The day literally had no stress — just love and joy!

Throughout the day, both of their families were amazing — genuinely just a great group of people to be around. When Sarah walked down the stairs as the bride-to-be, her brother and dad both had the sweetest reactions. They got a bit emotional, but overall just could not stop smiling! I’m always a sucker for the first reactions from family members, especially fathers and brothers, and this one did not disappoint. For the wedding ceremony, Sarah’s dad walked her down the aisle.

Sarah and Jacob did a first look as bride and groom, and it was absolutely precious. We took couple and group photos outside — even though it was a hot day — but everything else was indoors. The wedding ceremony was at a local church, and the reception was at Fox Hills Golf and Banquet Center in Plymouth, Michigan.

Michigan Wedding With A Classy, Timeless Feel

Sarah’s vision for her wedding really came to life. The wedding decorations were minimal and classy, lots of whites with touches of the prettiest blue. Everything tied together so well, and Sarah even had tiny blue flowers in her sleek bun. I was OBSESSED with the different micro-floral prints and blue shades of her bridesmaid dresses. The groomsmen requested a fun photo-op as they were walking into their AirBNB. Each groomsman had an individual “game day” walk-in picture, holding their drinks and suits. They were all hyping each other up and it was honestly hilarious!

Sarah and Jacob had six bridesmaids and six groomsmen, and the energy of the wedding party was truly unmatched. Everyone was inviting and JUST SO MUCH FUN to be around. The best kind of wedding parties are the ones that celebrate the couple well and also know how to PARTY. This group definitely made the day so fun — shots in the back room before entering the reception, the party bus, hilarious reception entrances, and all the dancing.

So Much Fun Taking Photos Of This Joyful Couple

Sarah and Jacob are the MOST precious duo. It was such a joy to be around them — they made me feel like I’d been their BFF for years. Happiness literally RADIATED off of this couple! Sarah and Jacob are each other’s best friends, and you could feel their love for each other just being in their presence. The way Jacob and Sarah looked at each other — oh my goodness, it made me low-key emotional all day.

Cheers to an incredible, memorable wedding and CHEERS to the happy couple! Sarah and Jacob, thank you for allowing me to capture your fun, beautiful day.
