Meredith and Matt absolutely ADORE each other — and it’s such a sweet thing to see! It was an honor to capture their Detroit Engagement Photos ahead of their wedding day. This duo did long distance for over a year as Meredith is an interior designer in Detroit and Matt works in sales in Nashville. Since this engagement photo shoot, they have tied the knot!

Meaningful Engagement Photos in Michigan

Even though their wedding was in Maine, they wanted their engagement photos captured in in the city where Meredith lives and where their relationship began. Throughout their photo session, we visited several locations that had meaning to them as a couple!

The first location was a spot they considered for their wedding ceremony. The second spot for their Detroit engagement photos was downtown, where they spend most of their time and where their relationship began. The third place we took their engagement photos at was a local soft-serve ice cream place — where they had their first date!

Capturing Their Love Story With Ease

When taking Meredith and Matt’s engagement photos, it was so obvious how much they are smitten by each other. Meredith has the most infectious smile, and Matt just absolutely adores her. You can tell how much they are truly in love! You could genuinely feel the love radiating off of them. And, it was amazing to see their love translate from these moment through the photos I snapped.
