Miranda and Adam truly are such sweet souls! These two met in college and have been a couple for the last three or so years. Adam proposed to Miranda when they were living in Georgia, where they called home since graduating college. Recently, they moved back to Michigan and are living in downtown Detroit. So, this city is extra special to them! 

Capturing Meaningful Detroit Couples Photography

A few weeks ago, I spent two hours in Detroit with them as we captured this season of their love story. The first location we went to was the Fisher Building since we wanted to capture all the classy vibes. Miranda’s dress was STUNNING and perfectly matched the luxurious, timeless vibes we were going for.

We then headed over to our second spot of the day, Queens Bar. They had never been there, but after we took photos there, Miranda and Adam said it would become a new favorite spot for them! The bar was so accommodating when we asked if we could grab some drinks and take a few pictures. It was an amazing, positive-vibes-only experience.

After we finished our drinks, we walked over to Miranda and Adam’s new apartment. It overlooks the city and I was of course OBSESSED with their windows! They had such a perfect view of downtown Detroit and the river — it was too good to pass up, so I captured some timeliness images for their Detroit couples photography session.

Their Love Is So Noticeable — And So Natural

While I was taking their photos, there was one feeling I kept getting that stood out to me. These two love each other, truly from the bottom of their hearts. Everything felt so comfortable and natural. It was so easy to take their photos, and honestly I could’ve kept going all day! We laughed a lot and ended the session talking about books (which, helloooo… me being the little bookworm that I am, was thrilled about).

Miranda and Adam will be tying the knot this September in Chelsea, Michigan. I could not be more excited! I just know their day is going to be absolutely BEAUTIFUL and I cannot wait to be a part of it. I feel so honored to be their photographer and I cannot wait to document their wedding day in the fall!
